Mary Bellero Furnald has been creating elegant, functional interiors for more than twenty-five years.  Mary began her career as a staff interior designer for Bloomingdale's, providing interior design services to it's retail clients, and designing model rooms for it's Spring and Fall shows.

Soon after, she gained commercial experience as a senior designer and space planner, working on diverse commercial projects including open office landscapes, corporate lobbies, waiting rooms, conference rooms, and executive offices. 

In 1989, Mary formed Bellero Design Associates, LLC, and for more than two decades has been providing full-service interior design solutions to residential and small-scale commercial projects with a strong commitment to serving her clients with quality work from initial concept through completion.

With her family in the custom-home business, Mary has a clear understanding of the construction process, facilitating team relationships with architects and contractors- all contributing to the successful execution of design concepts created for her clients.

Client and designer enjoy the spirited exchange of ideas as Mary learns how her clients interact with their environments and listens to their visions.  By incorporating the creative use of space and scale, the careful selection of beautiful furnishings, and the skill to design custom cabinetry, millwork, and furniture, Mary creates interiors that reflect the individual character of her clients and inspire their lifestyles.

Mary earned her BA in Interior Design from Kean University, graduating with honors.  She is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Green AP certified, and a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council.
